Somedays, I am very happy I got away from VoIP. Don’t get me wrong, ‘standards’ are better than the situation with RSS, but this many standards make it nearly impossible to get every client and server working perfectly with each other.

It is funny because this is the exact info that our IT guy needed from our VOIP company onsip, but they are stupid & didn’t know this basic information. Their responce was “just plug it in, it works” – well IN FACT it does not work. Then onsip “the @ssholes” told us our cable is the issue and so my IT guy ordered a T1. We pulled teeth and got the T1 in 1 week (vs 30 days) – and ONLY had the onsip plugged in, it went to heck if more than 2 or 3 people got ont he phone?! Grrr SIP and onsip SUCK! Thank god we figured out in time because he have a 7day cancel period on the T1 from the phone company. Stay away from VOIP & onsip, the experience was horrible! Back to normal phone lines for us…
